Madison's Kindergarten Graduation

Perrine Elementary does Kindergarten graduation. My older two never had that and I have to say those kids look adorable in little caps and gowns!

 She is just absolutely adorable!

I believe the kids sang us a few songs as part of the graduation. It didn't last very long.
Afterwards we met the kids in their classrooms and had snacks. The teachers had also prepared their going away packets. Just things they had been working on throughout the year.

We had to get a picture with one of the best Kindergarten teachers ever. Mrs. Stanger was just wonderful and Madison loved her!

Famous People at School Day

The kids have had a project for the last month of school to do some research on a famous person. They could be anyone from now clear back to the beginning of the world. They had sent home papers with ideas of people you could decide on. Statton chose Cesar Chavez. The day of the event they wanted the kids to try and dress like their person. They held this in the cafeteria and had all the kids lined up. You went up to whoever you wanted and pushed the sticker on the top of their hand and then they would tell you about the person they are representing. Very cute idea.

 Statton with his friend Tavien.
Cassidy chose to be none other than Taylor Swift. Notice the sticker on the hand. All of her information was written on the back of her microphone. It was lots of fun to see what all the kids had decided to be.

Cassidy's Gymnastic Program

Cassidy had the opportunity to take gymnastics from Pure Energy over in Jerome. They did an end of the year performance at the end of May. They were able to show us some of the things they learned over the last year.

They had a final class the next week where all the girls received their award certificates. Cassidy has really enjoyed gymnastics this year and has really become a wonderful gymnast. She was the first in her class to be able to do a back-flip on the trampoline without any help from her teacher. Good Job Cassidy!

Madison's birthday fell in the middle of the week so we had to wait until Friday to have a party with her friends. We went to jump-time for an hour and played and then finished off with ice-cream at Kiwi-Loco and presents.

 Her friends: Elyse,

Saturday we went down to Burley and had a bbq and opened presents with the families. As always she got a ton of cute of stuff and she loves all of it.

It was the week-long celebration of Madison's birthday but we had such a fun time partying with her.

Madison's 6th Birthday

Madison turned 6 on May 11th. I was able to take treats into her Kindergarten class. They get to stand in front of their class and read their poster they made that is all about them. The other kids have to try and guess what some of the things are on her poster. Very cute and makes those kids feel so special!

Mrs. Stanger then lights 6 candles on the pretend birthday cake and the kids sing "Happy Birthday" and then Madison was able to blow out the candles. Madison had a few kids in her class with food allergies so we were given a list of "safe" foods to bring in. Madison chose fruit roll-ups and Kool-Aid juices.

We unwrapped a few presents at the house with just our family. Madison got some puppies in a bag and a Friends- lego set.

We then sang "Happy Birthday" and had cupcakes.

Madison is such a sweet addition to our family and we love her so much. She is sweet, kind, and always tries to do what is asked of her. She's very simple in her wants of things and more often is concerned with other people's feelings and needs of life. She often prays for everyone to have a home and food. We love you Madison! Happy 6th Birthday!
