Matsumoto Shaved Ice and Laie Hawaii Temple

Monday we had tickets to go to the Polynesian Center. We left early that morning so we could stop and get some famous Matsumoto shaved ice before going to visit the Laie Hawaii Temple grounds. So here we are enjoying our shaved ice.

Here we are enjoying the temple grounds. It was a little windy that day but it helped to keep things cooled down.
Cassidy, Madison, and Statton posed in front of the temple.

Me with my cute little kiddos. I love them so much. It was fun being able to walk the Temple grounds and talk to them a little about the Temple and what we do in there. What a great opportunity to teach my children.

Grandpa and Grandma Darrington with the kids.
We also went inside the visitors center which was so nice. They have a small Jesus Christ statue like the one in Salt Lake City's visitor center that you can sit at while they play a little monologue. They also had a cute area for the kids with small grass huts set up with tv screens that play different interviews they have done with kids that have them answering questions about different gospel principles. They also have a small ipad type screen that lets you color a temple and email it to yourself. The Hawaii Temple grounds are very beautiful. After that we drove over to the Polynesian Center.
