Well we started off at the Polynesian Center by getting Statton and Cassidy spray on tattoos. Statton chose a surfer and Cassidy picked a lady bug. I was a little disappointed though since two years ago when we came they were doing colored tattoos and now they are just doing black ones. The kids still enjoyed them anyway.
Here we are watching the Samoan guys do their show. It started just pouring during the show and that guy was still able to start a fire with that stick. Amazing!
On our walk over to the next show we found a mama duck with some baby ducklings and a guy gave us some bread and the kids fed them. It was hard to pull them away so we could catch the next show on time. They thought they were so cute.
Well the next show ended up being too full for the Aotearoa. We stayed outside and the lady showed the kids how to play some games and use the balls they dance with. We had fun watching the kids try and swing those balls around.
We did get a picture with one of the Aotearoa guys. At first he was very serious and the kids were trying to walk around him but then he smiled at them and beckoned them over and then they were more willing to get a picture. I laughed caused even Madison reached up and grabbed his hand like it was no big deal.
Here is Statton, Cassidy, Madison, and Kailyn all trying to do the hang loose sign with the Aotearoa girls.
Here we are at the Fiji show. They gave everyone sticks to bang on the floor while they sang.
